There weren't many consistent releases around the new Millenium, which is what makes this disc stand out. That and the unconditional grimeyness debuted by Wax here and then continuing for a few years. The main character tells street stories from a rugged & carefree perspective.
The intro is clean with rob-lo flexing his production skills (dope beat, classic movie sample & what is the track at the end of it???).
"Rappa", "Around the World", "Kryme Pays", and "Street Thugs" are very well-produced and made The same can be said for the title track, Beneficial, & Journey (not my favorite Wax & Woodie beat but great nonetheless).
Songs like "P/G style" and "Talk iz Cheap" sound good but have limited replay value.
Overall a very fun listen created by what we can assume was a shoestring budget. This was when he just got out of jail but he was/is determined.
8/10
